Chapter 16 – No Visitors
“The fear of being alone is the father of many relationships that never should have been. When we choose to be with someone because we are afraid of being alone, we dishonor ourselves and the other person. One of life’s most essential lessons is learning to be alone. Loneliness and solitude teach us gratitude.” (p. 103 - 104) It should also teach us to serve as disciples to help heal the lonely.
Discussion questions: Do you know anyone, including yourself, that is lonely? What can you do to help them, or yourself?
