WE Online Book Club - Introduction & How to Post

“Resisting Happiness” by Matthew Kelly

(Jan. 21 – Feb. 28, 2019)

Hi, WE ladies, and welcome to the WE Online Book Club over “Resisting Happiness” by Matthew Kelly!  My name is Nikki Grygar, and I’ll be leading the group through this online book club.

I picked up this book a couple of years ago when I was trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing with my life.  After reading a couple of Matthew’s books and attending the POP ACTS retreat last year, I’ve definitely found the new path to my life’s journey!  I hope you find this book inspirational, and somewhat of a “kick in the rear” as I did.  Praying you find some peace and guidance through this online book discussion.

For simplicity sake, and for those that don’t have time to read the book, I’ve highlighted the main theme of each chapter.  Then, I listed a discussion question(s) for thought and/or discussion. You will find Chapters 1 - 3 posted today. While you do not have to comment online, if you are needing to let something go, this could be a good outlet to free your thoughts.  You also may get much-needed support or advice from your WE sisters, and help someone else out in the process through your own comments.

Peace, love, and joy,

Nikki Grygar

P.S.  Each chapter of the book will be posted separately here on CatholicWE.com so you may easily read the summary and respond to its corresponding discussion question(s) in the Comments box below.  Posting days are Mondays and Thursdays, Jan. 21 – Feb. 28, 2019.  Most days will have postings for four chapter, with a few exceptions.
